Introduction to Financial Accounting (ACC05)
As a business owner, manager or employee, it is often difficult to understand the many concepts, intricacies and relationships involved in managing the finances of an organization. This course will provide a well-paced and sequential approach to understanding finance and reducing uncertainty. Starting with the basics of financial terms and accounting practices, a basis of knowledge is developed that facilitates the more decision-oriented aspects of finance, including internal and external reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, and management of assets and risk. This course will help increase your financial acumen to facilitate better decision making while also improving your communication skills with other finance entities such as banks, vendors, customers, equity partners and even your co-workers or employees!
