Our Academic Upgrading Department can help you earn the high school prerequisites you need to enter
apprenticeship programs, and college-level or university courses on a full-time or part-time basis. We
offer pre-high school and high school equivalency courses and GED testing that can help you start to move
ahead with your post-secondary education.
Certificate of Grade 12 Equivalency
If you arrive at our institution without a high school diploma, you can complete missing courses and then
apply for a
Certificate of Achievement in Grade 12 Equivalency. Students must complete four Grade 12 level courses, two
being required Grade 12 equivalent subjects at our institution.
Have a look at the Academic Calendar for more information about admission requirments.
We offer GED testing through the Learning Commons which accommodates and supervises internal and external
examinations. In this capacity, both academic and non-credit examinations are hosted.
