Wednesday, February 15th, 2017
GRANDE PRAIRIE – Grande Prairie Regional College (GPRC) invites the public’s input into the future of its college-owned buildings and facilities during a series of community consultation sessions.
GPRC and its architects from Stantec will use the ideas and input received during these sessions to help guide the College as it creates a new Campus Master Plan.
The Campus Master Plan will identify the future needs and aspirations of the College and the communities it serves for the next 10-15 years. The plan is a key planning document for the College.
“GPRC is vital to the growth and success of northwestern Alberta and completing a new Campus Master Plan is part of the College’s ongoing work to have the best facilities for our students, faculty, community and industry,” said GPRC President and CEO Don Gnatiuk.
The community consultation sessions are one part of a process that includes gathering input from GPRC, staff, faculty and students.
“GPRC is building this plan together with our community, our staff, faculty and students, and industry,” said Gnatiuk.
The Campus Master Plan looks at the future needs of GPRC-owned building and facilities, which are located in Grande Prairie and Fairview. GPRC also has regional learning centres located in leased space in Grande Cache, Edson, Hinton and Jasper.
Community sessions will be in Grande Prairie and Fairview:
Tuesday, February 28, 2017 - Fairview Campus: Room FAC-144, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
