Description: |
This course focuses on the application of basic anatomy, physiology, and movement mechanics for health and fitness related group exercise. Focus will be on practice and demonstration of the concepts of leading group fitness classes with respect to music, movement, cueing, and current trends. Students will be prepared for Fitness Alberta Practical Exams to become certified to instruct group fitness classes in the designated areas covered.
