First Year Bootcamp
The Department of Science is hosting a boot camp from August 30th to September 1st (tentatively) for students entering their first year of the University Transfer Engineering Program. It will cover concept reviews, an introduction to the field, and what a career in engineering entails.
Participants will review mathematics, physics and chemistry concepts, and instructors will provide a light introduction to some new concepts used in courses that students need to know.
Along with an introduction to the discipline, its various branches, and guidance on a career in the field, several local guest speakers who are professional engineers will give insight into how they succeeded in their first year and careers.
If you are interested in receiving more information bout the boot camp, please get in touch with the department at science@nwpolytech.ca
