Sexual Harassment and Assault (CRM13)
This workshop will help you to define and understand sexual assault and sexual harassment, and the affects they have on individuals. You will have a chance to challenge yourself to see if you are aware of the hidden realities of sexual assault and harassment in our society, and explore myths around sexual violence. You will learn to engage in conversations around the issue of victim-blaming and how we can help reduce this stigma. This workshop will also explore sexual violence in the workplace, and you will develop an understanding of how you can help create a safe workplace. You will also gain tools to assist in handling disclosures of sexual violence, and your responsibilities if you should receive a disclosure.
Facilitated by: Denay Bjornson, Public Awareness Coordinator at Pace
