These courses are offered through disciplines that provide over 100 program options in areas such as agriculture, computing science, engineering, pharmacy, pre-medicine and pre-veterinary science.

Because of our dedicated instructors and small class sizes, students who begin their studies at GPRC are highly successful once they transfer to universities in Alberta and across North America. Bachelor of Science in Computing Science
Computing Science specialists are in high demand! This program builds foundational knowledge in Python and Java to prepare you for further study in other programming languages, as well as the areas of software engineering, operating systems, computer organization and architecture, algorithms, databases, networks, parallel programming, and computing theory.

Computing and Information Systems, Degree Completion
Designed for students who wish to be applications oriented, the focus of this collaborative degree program is the use of computers in business, education and other application areas for processing, utilization, and management of information. The emphasis is applied and practical applications and concepts. The BSc CIS is a fully accredited four-year degree, of which students can complete the majority on-site at GPRC.

Computer Systems Technology
Computer professionals need strong problem-solving capacities in addition to being observant, detail-oriented and tenacious in pursuing solutions. The Computer Systems Technology (CST) program offers opportunities to integrate extensive software development and hardware skills. Facilities include a circuit design and robotics lab, data communications and networking lab as well as six general access computer labs. Students choose between a one-year certificate or a two-year diploma. Students who complete the diploma may transfer into year three of a four-year degree at a number of different institutions in Alberta
