Emergency First Aid with CPR A and AED (St John Ambulance) (EFA01)
In this one-day course, students will learn to recognize and provide interventions for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives. Topics include: CPR and choking for adults, shock and unconsciousness, severe bleeding, head & spinal injuries, major medical conditions, and AED training and certification.
Upon successful competion, participants receive certification from St John Ambulance, valid for three years.
This course is approved by Occupational Health & Safety as an approved first aid training course. Emergency First Aid is available on the first day of any Standard First Aid course. Please refer to the Standard First Aid course schedule for dates or call 780.539.2975 for more information.
